2012

The Ford Taurus is available as a sedan in either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, with three trims: SE, SEL, and Limited.

  • Available twin-cam 3.0-Liter V6 or twin-cam 3.4-Liter V8

All engines came with an electronically controlled, four-speed transmission.



1992-1995

Engine options:

  • Standard 3.0-Liter V6
  • Available 3.2-Liter DOHC V6

This was the first generation of the Ford Taurus SHO to offer an available automatic transmission.



1986-1991

The L trim came with an automatic transmission, and the MT-5 trim came with a manual five-speed transmission.
