There are plenty of events to attend in Grand Rapids, Michigan, but the Red Shoe Brew is the place to be this May. Taking place on May 16, the event is sure to be full of food and fun for attendees. The new festival will feature brews from several local breweries and all proceeds will benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Western Michigan.
Since the event mainly revolves around alcohol, anyone under the age of 21 will not be permitted to attend. The Red Show Brew event kicks off on May 16, at 5 p.m. and runs until 8 p.m. Attendees will have the option to try craft brews from the following breweries. Attending breweries include Brewery Vivant, Cedar Springs, Gravel Bottom, Ludington Bay Brewing, The Mitten Brewing, Pigeon Hill, Railtown, Saugatuck Brewing, Starving Artist, Vander Mill Cider and White Flame.
Tickets start at $35 and include three tasting tokens as well as a food voucher. The VIP ticket, which included five tasting tokens, a food voucher, and guaranteed seating in the beer-garden VIP tent, is sold out.
Entertainment includes live music and yard games for all to enjoy and take part in. A selfie stand offers the opportunity to grab a great picture of what’s sure to be a memorable night!
